Fue una experiencia inolvidable que nos permitió disfrutar del paisaje, la cultura, las comunidades rurales, los cultivos, la flora y fauna y la gastronomía de Costa Rica como más nos gusta hacerlo: paso a paso. Juancho demostró ser un guía excelente en todos los sentidos. Conocía toda la flora y fauna, tenía en mente las posibles variantes del camino para adaptarnos a las circunstancias, exponía contexto histórico del país y las zonas que se atraviesan. Supo adaptar muy bien las etapas y estimar los tiempos en función de su dificultad, climatología, paisaje, etc."
